The director’s lineup for the brand-new crime-drama series has been announced, here’s what we know about it so far:

What’s it about?

A small business in Chinatown runs on one thing, selling counterfeit designer goods to unwitting or uncaring customers. In the series, the dealer finds herself walking into the jaws of the shadowy underworld of the black market. She begins to make moral sacrifices in order to achieve her dream of a suburban home and the perceived respectability that would come with it.

Who’s in it?

The currently confirmed cast includes Lucy Liu (Kill Bill), Ken Leung (Industry), Bohan Phoenix (Minor Legends), Michelle Lee Jones () and Keith Leung (Girl Failure). There are likely more roles to be filled, but the current cast already boasts a list laden with big names.

Who’s behind it?

The directors of the series will be Jim McKay (Tulsa King), Karena Evans (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and Andrij Parekh (Succession). The pilot episode has been confirmed to have Evans attached as a director. Evans and McKay are also attached as executive producers, alongside creator Alice Ju (Russian Doll) as well as Josh Safdie and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems), Howard Klein (The Office), Olivia Gerke (Fantasmas), Ronald Bronstein (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Eli Bush (Marty Supreme) and Liu.

When’s it out?

There’s currently no release date out for the series, as it still appears to be in the early stages of pre-production and development.
