There’s a Star Trek: Discovery season 4 trailer to enjoy, and the show returns in November
Paramount+ has revealed the official trailer for season four of its hit original series Star Trek: Discovery. The trailer was introduced by series star Sonequa Martin-Green during the series’ New York Comic Con panel. The upcoming season’s official key art, featuring Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham, also made its debut during the panel (it’s the picture above!)
Season four finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they’ve ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all.
The cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker), Blu del Barrio (Adira) and recurring guest star Ian Alexander (Gray).
The new season will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 18, exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers in the U.S. We don’t yet know if that will be the UK date, but we expect it to be close to that. We also assume it will be on Netflix, as are the first three seasons.
You can watch the Star Trek: Discovery season 4 trailer in the press release (it’s not made its way to YouTube yet), and get sense of the new series, though we expect more before November.
