Apple TV+ has set a date for Down Cemetery Road and released some first look images
Last year we reported the commission of Down Cemetery Road, now we gave an October 29 date for the series, starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson. The eight-episode thriller will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, October 29, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 10.
You can also see some first look images, and get a reminder of the plot:
When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbor Sarah Tucker (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson). Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.
The series is adapted from Mick Herron’s novel of the same name. Herron also wrote the Slough House books on which Slow Horses is based. Season 5 of Slow Horses finishes October 22, one week before this new show arrives.
