The Netflix film will arrive towards the end of September…
Fleabag director Harry Bradbeer’s new film for Netflix, adapted from Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes series of books, is heading to the streaming service in September, and we now have a first taste of the film courtesy of a trailer that landed today.
In Enola Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) stars as the teen sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft Holmes (Sam Claflin). Helena Bonham Carter, Adeel Akhtar, Fiona Shaw, Frances de la Tour, Burn Gorman, Louis Partridge and Susan Wokoma round out the cast.
The movie finds Enola discovering her mother has gone missing, so she sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord.
