Drama series Finding Alice is on ITV this January and will run for six weeks
We first reported on the Keeley Hawes drama Finding Alice back in 2019, and we’re delighted to see it’s now been scheduled for ITV, commencing 9 pm on Sunday 17th. Keeley stars as Alice and the series tells the story of moving on from the death of her partner Harry. The six-part drama was created by Roger Goldby, Keeley Hawes and Simon Nye, and written by Roger and Simon. The cast includes Joanna Lumley (Gangster Granny, Absolutely Fabulous) and Nigel Havers (Benidorm, Coronation Street) as Alice’s parents Sarah and Roger, and Jason Merrells (Agatha Raisin, Safe House) as her partner Harry. Some interesting casting and we look forward to meeting Sarah and Roger when the show launches. The cast also includes Gemma Jones, Kenneth Cranham, Isabella Pappas, Sharon Rooney and Rhashan Stone.
The show is described as an honest, raw, blackly comic journey of grief, love and life.
You can see the trailer here; from the synopsis it appears Harry had a few secrets, debts and more. The trailer shows the smart house dream home Alice and Harry moved into, shortly before he was found dead at the bottom of the stairs. Alice struggles to cope at first, not even able to find the fridge! It gets worse when various unexpected visitors come calling…
