After a brief scare, fans of Friends can now rest easy as the popular 90s sitcom won’t be leaving either Netflix UK or Netflix US, it’s been confirmed…
When eagle-eyed fans on Twitter spotted that Friends was set to leave Netflix on New Year’s Day there was quite the backlash within the fandom, as the sitcom is one of the streaming service’s most popular series.
However, Netflix have appeared to reverse their decision in exiling Friends as they announced that the Holiday Armadillo has made our collective dream come true…

For UK fans worried Friends would leave the Blighty version of the service, Netflix UK have clarified that Friends isn’t going anywhere…

However, it was reported a few months back that Warner Bros. are primed to establish their own on-demand service in 2019 and that series like Friends will likely disappear from Netflix – so savour Friends while you can!
