The first promotional photos of the cast of BBC One’s new adventure drama series, The Musketeers, have been released.
The pics feature Skins star Luke Pasqualino as D’Artagnan, alongside Santiago Cabrera (Merlin) as Aramis, Tom Burke (The Hour) as Athos and Howard Charles as Porthos.
Creator Adrian Hodges (Survivors, Primeval) commented: “The four actors look brilliant together and it seems like they have been working together for years. The camaraderie between them makes each action-packed scene exciting and authentic, and the image we have released today really encapsulates that.”
The ten-part series is a “fresh and contemporary take on the classic characters created by Alexandre Dumas in his much-loved novel”.
