The first official promotional imagery of EastEnders star Ben Hardy in the new X-Men movie has been unveiled.
Hardy, who joined the BBC One soap as Peter Beale in 2013 and departed Albert Square in February, is playing Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse.
The follow-up to X-Men: Days Of Future Past is due in UK cinemas in May 2016 and poster artwork for the movie was spotted at ComicCon Experience in Brazil.

Director Bryan Singer teased earlier this year: “…he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”

The role of Angel was previously played by Ben Foster in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand.
Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) will play Jean Grey in the film, alongside Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse and returning cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.
