The latest news from behind the development scenes at Apple TV has unveiled a new series adapted from a novel with a lot to offer in terms of tension. The announcement has hinted at who will be involved in bringing this show to life.

What’s Guilty Creatures about?

Adapted from Mikita Brottman’s novel for screen by Sarah DeLappe (Bodies Bodies Bodies), the story follows a true-crime incident against a Floridian backdrop. Two God-fearing lovers are the unlikely people behind the unthinkable act of murder. The act causes their lives to unravel as they manage to live beneath the radar for 18 years subsequent to the killing. The pair grapple with avoiding suspicion and living with the burden of unforgivable sin.

Who’s behind it?

Julia Garner (Ozark) is set to both star and executive produce, with Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) directing and Stuart Zicherman (The Shrink Next Door) taking on the role of showrunner.
