FX has shared the first full-length trailer for American Horror Story: 1984, the latest instalment of Ryan Murphy’s scary anthology series. You can watch the clip here…
The central storytelling set-up this time seems to that the series is taking place in the eighties at a campsite. Carry On Camping but with more murders, perhaps?

Recently, Ryan Murphy, creator and showrunner of American Horror Story, took to Instagram to reveal his latest ensemble cast. Here’s the video, which was shared on the first day of filming AHS 1984…
Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, John Carroll Lynch, Leslie Grossman and Matthew Morrison are the returning cast members this time around, with Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson both being notable in their absence.
As for new faces, you’ve got Angelica Ross, DeRon Horton and Gus Kenworthy. As ever, it’ll be fun to see which characters survive the season.
American Horror Story: 1984 will arrive on FX, for American viewers, on 18 September. The UK premiere date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you informed as we hear more.
