Apple has announced its own streaming service, dubbed Apple TV+, which will feature new shows from such stars as Jennifer Aniston, Brie Larson, Chris Evans and Jason Momoa. You can watch the first trailer for the platform right here…

Confirmed shows for Apple TV+ include: The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carrell; See, with Jason Momoa; Time Bandits from Taika Waititi; Brie Larson in an as-yet-untitled CIA drama; Amazing Stories from Steven Spielberg; Dickinson starring Hailee Steinfeld; a thriller called Servant from M. Night Shyamalan; Truth Be Told, starring Octavia Spencer and Aaron Paul; Defending Jacob, which stars Chris Evans; and there will also be a show called Mythic Quest, from Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day.

That’s an impressive roster, isn’t it? And that’s not even all of them. See how many shows you can spot in this reveal trailer for Apple TV+…

Apple TV+ will launch as an app this autumn, and interested viewers have been invited to sign up for updates on Apple’s website.

What isn’t clear right now is how much this service will cost. There’s certainly a feeling in the air that customers who already pay for multiple streaming services – Netflix, Amazon Prime and Now TV, for example – might need some special convincing to sign up for another one. A super low price point would be one way to tempt people, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed on that front…
