BBC One has announced the commission of a new series from the makers of Doctor Foster.

Wanderlust is described as “a searingly insightful and funny exploration into the relationships of a multi-generational family.”

The six-part comedy-drama will explore “how we build and maintain happy relationships and asking whether lifelong monogamy is possible – or even desirable.”

Wanderlust is the first TV series to be scripted by award-winning playwright Nick Payne (Constellations, If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet).
