All Round to Mrs Brown’s will return to BBC One next year.
The first season of the British-Irish comedy talk show launched in March.
Six new episodes will air in 2018, the BBC has announced.
Mrs Brown’s Boys creator Brendan O’Carroll commented: “The whole family are thrilled with the reception the show has received on Saturday nights. Although our focus right now is on the Christmas Specials of our regular Mrs Brown’s Boys show, we are excited that 2018 will see party time at the Brown’s house again.”
Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content added: “All Round To Mrs Brown’s has been a huge hit for BBC One on Saturday nights. I am delighted Mrs Brown will be opening her home for a second series, with her unique blend of fun and mischief.”
Alan Tyler, Commissioning Editor BBC Entertainment said: “It’s rare to find a show that is so loved by the audience, but that is simply testament to the genius of Brendan’s creativity. With ‘All Round to Mrs Brown’s’, Agnes, Cathy and the family threw open their doors and created one of the funniest entertainment shows on television. We cannot wait to see which guests grace Mammy’s sofa in the next series.”
