Jonathan Creek star Caroline Quentin has announced that she is keen to film new episodes of the comedy-drama.
Quentin played crime writer Maddy Magellan for the show’s first three series, between 1997 and 2000.
Speaking to Graham Norton on his BBC Radio 2 show, the actress revealed: “I would love to go back and do it.”
Quentin explained: “I basically left to give birth. Things moved on I suppose [for the writers] and they cast other people. Consequently I’ve never returned to it.”
She added: “Given the opportunity I’d love to but at the moment I haven’t heard from them at all.”
The latest three-part series of Jonathan Creek aired on BBC One earlier this year, starring Alan Davies and Sarah Alexander.
