The upcoming reboot of classic 80s soap opera Dynasty (from The CW in the US) will be available to watch for audiences in the UK via Netflix.
The latest US drama to be picked up by Netflix for viewers in Blighty is Dynasty – a 2017 reboot of the 1981 camp-fest starring Joan Collins – reports Deadline. The deal means that curious international audiences will be able to check out the show shortly after American fans.
This new iteration of the series, which follows two disgustingly wealthy families as they fight over money and respective legacies, comes from Sallie Patrick, Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, the team behind The OC, Gossip Girl and Chuck.
Shows with a similar deal on Netflix include Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars and iZombie, with episodes appearing on the streaming site within hours of the US broadcast.
Dynasty will premiere on The CW on October 11th, and will likely hit Netflix on October 12th. Watch the trailer below.
