Further to the triumvirate of story summaries that did the rounds earlier this week, The CW has now released a sizeable stack of images for its Elseworlds crossover event. You can clap your eyes on them here!

As well as bringing together the stars of Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl (the Legends Of Tomorrow lot are sitting this one out), the Elseworlds crossover will also feature the debut appearance of Ruby Rose as Batwoman.

We don’t yet know how all the story strands will slot together, but we do know that reality will go a bit weird, with Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen swapping lives. We also know that John Wesley Shipp will play his classic version of The Flash from the 1990s TV show.

The crossover event will begin on The CW with The Flash season 5 episode 9 on December 9th, before continuing with Arrow season 7 episode 9 the following night, and then wrapping things up with Supergirl season 4 episode 9 the night after that. (It is worth remembering, though, that Sky One’s British broadcast of these shows is usually a week after the official American dates).
