The worlds of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl are set to collide (again), with this year’s winter crossover going by the title Elseworlds. This trailer teases Superman’s new clothes and Ruby Rose’s debut as Batwoman.

The trailer teases the reality-meddling nature of a new villainous threat, as well as showing off loads of snazzy shots of heroes from multiple dimensions…

As well as glimpsing Tyler Hoechlin’s Supes in a dark new suit and Ruby Rose’s Batwoman brooding on a rooftop, we also see John Wesley Shipp’s Flash from the 1990s TV show giving the big bad a talking to. We also see Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen and Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen caught in a Freaky Friday situation that neither of them is keen on.

That reality-bending villain who’s given godlike powers in the episode is Doctor John Deegan, an Arkham Asylum employee played by Jeremy Davies (who you might recognise from Lost).

The crossover event will kick off, for American viewers, during The Flash‘s new episode on December 9th (before continuing on Arrow and Supergirl the same week). Here in the UK, we’ll get all those episodes a week later on Sky One.
