Bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst might soon top the UK singles chart, according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.

Following her success at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, the Austrian pop star now reportedly has a 5/1 shot to have a number one single in the UK charts this year.

However, the odds of Conchita appearing in the next 007 movie as Daniel Craig’s latest Bond girl are only 1000/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes commented: “Conchita stole the show on Saturday night and it looks like her success is going to continue. Unfortunately though any aspirations of being a Bond girl should probably be shelved for now.”
