And here’s a short documentary about season 8 episode 1, which proves that HBO will keep making its ‘Inside The Episode’ videos this year…
Game Of Thrones season 8 episode 1 paid a lot of homage to the first ever episode of the show, with Arya, Bran and Sansa welcoming a royal visiting party to Winterfell. In season 1, they were welcoming King Robert. This time, it was Queen Daenerys.
The episode also ended with a callback to the series premiere, with Jaime Lannister seeing Bran across the Winterfell courtyard. Of course, the show’s first ever episode ended with Jaime pushing Bran out of a window and crippling him.
Game Of Thrones season 8 episode 2 will debut on Sky Atlantic and Now TV at 2am on Friday 19th April.
