Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones, has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
Following months of rumours, 12 Years A Slave star Lupita Nyong’o has now also officially been cast in the movie, Den of Geek reports.
Directed by JJ Abrams, Star Wars: Episode VII is filming now and arrives in UK cinemas on 18 December 2015.
Details of the pair’s characters have not yet been confirmed.
Season 4 of Game of Thrones is currently airing on Monday nights on Sky Atlantic.
Christie also plays Lexi in CBBC fantasy series Wizards vs Aliens, which returns for a third series later this year.
