Natalia Tena will star in The Refugees, a new sci-fi drama co-produced by BBC Worldwide and Spain’s AtresMedia.

The British actress of Spanish heritage is best known for her roles as Osha in Game of Thrones and as Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter movies.

The Refugees will explore the impact on a small rural community after millions of refugees from the future travel back in time to seek shelter in the present.

Being Human writer Tom Grieves is currently acting as a script consultant on the show.

Created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor, The Refugees begins filming this summer.

Season 4 of Game of Thrones is currently airing on Monday nights on Sky Atlantic.
