Gorillaz have announced dates for a new UK tour later this year.
Damon Albarn’s band released their fifth studio album last week. ‘Humanz’ features collaborations with Vince Staples, Benjamin Clementine and Mavis Staples.
Kicking off at Brighton Centre on Monday 27 November, the tour will then visit Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London across November and December 2017.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 5 May.
The band’s recent secret London show was described by Time Out London as “Flat-out one of the greatest gigs we’ve seen in a whole heap of years.”
The ‘Humanz’ Tour will see the Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar), Russel Hobbs (drums) and 2D (vocals) joined on stage by the Gorillaz live band – Damon Albarn, Gabriel Wallace, Mike Smith, Jesse Hackett, Jeff Wootton, Karl Vanden Bossche, Seye Adelekan – as well as selected performers from the stellar roll call of Gorillaz’ family of featured artists.
