The channel’s first original drama series, Hit & Miss began in May and starred Chloë Sevigny as Mia – a contract killer with a big secret: she’s a transgender woman.

Sky has opted not to renew the show for a second series, TVWise reports.

Sky Atlantic confirmed on Twitter: “…there are no plans for it to return.”

A statement issued by Sky Atlantic reads: “Hit & Miss was commissioned as a self-contained drama. Following the success of this series, Sky Atlantic continues to be committed to investment in original British scripted productions with upcoming drama Falcon, and other productions which will be announced soon.”
