I Am The Night, a six-episode drama from TNT, sees Chris Pine reteaming with his Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins. A new trailer is here, for what promises to be a glossy noir-style thriller.
With Pine starring as a Marine-turned-reporter and Jenkins working behind the scenes as an executive producer, this series certainly has some impressive geeky credentials.
Sam Sheridan, who previously served as a staff writer on SEAL Team, created this drama. And the impressive cast includes India Eisley and Jefferson Mays, as well as Mr Pine.
The brand new trailer for the show has arrived online this week, with a special intro from Pine and Jenkins, and you can watch it right here…
Also, here’s the official synopsis, which can give you a few more teases of the story:
“From executive producer Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), I Am the Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery. Chris Pine plays Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack-reporter/paparazzo.”
American viewers will be able to catch the show’s premiere on TNT on January 28th 2019. We’re yet to hear a UK release date, but we’ll be sure to let you know if/when that changes.
