Written by Allan Cubitt (Prime Suspect), the five-part series tells the story of a Belfast serial killer and the female Detective Superintendent, DSI Gibson (Anderson), who is brought in to catch him.

Dornan will play Paul Sector, a serial killer who stalks his victims in and around Belfast.
