John Cooper Clarke has announced another Manchester date for next January, following the success of his Manchester Palace Theatre show earlier this year.

The Salford-born poet will return for a special ‘Christmas with Clarke’ show with special guests at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on Saturday 3 January 2015, which will also be the final date of his National Poetry Tour.

John Cooper Clarke toured with all the seminal bands of the 1970s, including The Sex Pistols, The Clash and Buzzcocks, and was later supported by Joy Division and New Order. Last year the Arctic Monkeys recently covered his ‘I Wanna Be Yours’ on their fifth studio album ‘AM’.
