The makers of Line of Duty have confirmed that the next season will start shooting later this year.
The fourth season of Jed Mercurio’s police corruption thriller was commissioned by BBC Two in April 2014 at the same time as Season 3, but there has previously been a gap of two years between each season.
World Productions announced on Twitter: “S4 is currently being written to film later in the year.”
