Netflix has lifted the lid on Living With Yourself, the upcoming sci-fi comedy drama that features two versions of Paul Rudd and one Aisling Bea.
In Living With Yourself, Ant-Man star and Friends alum Paul Rudd will play two versions of himself: the show’s original protagonist, Miles, who will sign up for a betterness treatment; and also a new-and-improved version of Miles that comes into existence during the show, because of the treatment, and tries to take over Miles’ life.
Irish comedian/actor/writer Bea, who recently created and starred in the brilliant This Way Up for Channel 4, will play Kate. She’s Miles’ partner, and she ends up being caught between the loser-y original version and his snazzy enhanced replacement.
It sounds like a Black Mirror episode, but with these actors involved, it’ll definitely skew in a more comedic direction than your usual harrowing futuristic sci-fi story.

Living With Yourself is written by the Emmy-winning Timothy Greenberg, who is well known for his work on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.
Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris are calling the shots as directors, having previously worked on the likes of Little Miss Sunshine.
The Living With Yourself release date has been set for 18 October.
