Series 3 Episode 1 will air at 9pm on Tuesday 2 July on BBC One and sees Luther return to investigate a twisted fetishist who is murdering women in a horrific echo of an unsolved case from the 1980s. The team must put all their resources into finding the copycat killer, whose murderous spree has only just begun.

The four 60-minute episodes will guest star Sienna Guillory (Resident Evil) as a new love interest, alongside returning cast members Warren Brown (Good Cop) as DS Justin ‘Ripley’, Nikki Amuka-Bird as DS Erin Gray, Dermot Crowley as DSU Martin Schenk and Michael Smiley as Benny Deadhead.
