Marvel’s Runaways is returning for a second season on Hulu, with its cast of teen heroes reuniting for 13 new episodes (up from last year’s 10). You can watch the brand new trailer right here, if you like.
Starring Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue, and Julian McMahon, Runaways is a series about remarkable young people that find out their parents are super villains.
Based on the comics of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, this Hulu series was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. You can watch the season 2 trailer right here:
And we also have this snazzy, very colourful poster to share…
The series will return to Hulu, for American viewers, on December 21st. There’s no word yet on when Syfy will premiere the new season for British viewers. Sky still has season 1 on its Now TV platform, though, if you fancy catching up.
It’s a weird time for Marvel TV at the moment, with Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil all being cancelled at Netflix. Meanwhile, at ABC, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. was given a renewal for its seventh season before the sixth one has even aired. Runaways seems to be tootling along regardless, though.
As we hear more, we’ll be sure to let you know.
