Executive producers Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps will also take part in the panel at 10.30am on Sunday 15th July in Room 6BCF of the San Diego Convention Center. An exclusive sneak preview of Series 5 and a brand new blooper reel have been created especially for Comic-Con.

It has also been announced that a Merlin YouTube channel will launch later this year, featuring behind-the-scenes videos, deleted scenes and other special material from Series 1-4.

Last month Merlin‘s executive producer Julian Murphy told CultBox that the fantasy drama may return for a sixth series in 2013: “No final decision has been made but there is talk. I don’t think it will be resolved immediately… You’ll have to wait and see on that one!”
