The organisers of Secret Cinema have announced additional dates for this summer’s Secret Cinema presents Back to the Future – the biggest live cinema event ever staged in the world.
42,000 tickets sold out last week just 4 hours after going on sale.
Tickets for the new dates between Thursday 14 August and Sunday 31 August will go on sale at 1pm today.
Secret Cinema will be building the town of Hill Valley in a secret London location, where audiences will travel back in time and become citizens of Hill Valley living between 1955 and 1985, with secret alleys and entrances in the town that will allow them to travel to 1985 and 2015.
The event will immerse audiences into the world of Back to the Future in the first half of the evening before a screening of the classic ’80s film alongside “extra experiential surprise elements”.
Highlights will include a secret headline high profile band each night, and the famous ‘Enchantment under the Sea’ Prom dance will take place at an after party venue near the secret location.
