Speaking to IGN, the actress revealed that the film was “being thought out”, although she warned fans: “Looking at my schedule, it’s probably unlikely to happen before 2016, but that’s the way things go.”

Series 2 of The Fall is due to begin filming in Belfast at the end of next month and will see Anderson return as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, alongside Jamie Dornan as serial killer Paul Spector.
