Sandi Toksvig will host a raucous evening of comedy and music inspired and performed by great women later this month in London.
The QI star will be inspired by pioneering women who made iconic and empowering music for their generation and those that followed.
Taking place at London’s Royal Festival Hall at 7:30 pm on Sunday 11th March, Sandi Toksvig’s Mirth Control: Arts over Tit is part of the 8th annual WOW – Women of the World festival, which brings together female artists, writers, politicians, comedians, activists and more.
The event will feature Josette Bushell-Mingo with extracts from her show Nina: A Story About Me and Nina Simone, performing the iconic musician and activist’s music, along with Alice Russell, Zara McFarlane and the WOW Orchestra.
Tickets are available now on the Southbank Centre website, priced £15 – £40.
