SEAL Team UK release date confirmed by Sky One

Sky One has set the UK release date for SEAL Team, an American military drama created by Benjamin Cavell of Homeland and Justified fame. The series is produced by the American network CBS, which has already screened 13 episodes for stateside viewers. The UK broadcast will be some way behind the American pace, then, when it finally does kick off.

Without further ado, let’s get to the news: Sky One has officially set the SEAL Team UK release date for Thursday 22nd March. And if this is first you’ve heard of SEAL Team, let us fill you in with a few details…

The series follows the exploits of Bravo Team, an elite unit of United States Navy SEALs. Over the course of this first season (which consists of 22 episodes), they undertake highly dangerous missions – much to the chagrin of their families – at locations all over the word.

The core SEAL Team cast features David Boreanaz (Bones, Angel), Jessia Paré (Mad Men), Max Thierot (Bates Motel), Neil Brown Jr (Straight Outta Compton), A.J. Buckley (CSI: NY) and Toni Trucks (Lethal Weapon, Grimm). That’s a fair bit of talent on display, isn’t it?

SEAL Team has earned a sizeable pile of positive reviews and some decent ratings over in the US. So if action-packed dramas are your kind of thing, it might be worth sticking a reminder in your diary for March 22nd.
