The first ever official Sherlock convention has been announced.
Titled Sherlocked, the event will take place in 2014 over 3 days and will feature activities, star guests from the cast and crew, talks, photo shoots, autograph sessions and more.
Update [28 August 2014]: Sherlocked will now be taking place in “the first part of 2015” rather than in 2014 as “there is not time to put together the scale of event that we want to bring you”, the event’s organiser has confirmed.
Organised by Massive Events with the Sherlock production team at Hartswood Films and Showmasters Ltd, the team behind London Film & Comic Con, there are also plans for the event to take place in Europe and in the USA.
Sherlock‘s producer Sue Vertue told Sherlockology: “We’re very excited to be announcing our first official Sherlock convention for later in the year, aptly named Sherlocked. Massive Events have been pestering me for ages to get a date for this in the schedule but we wanted to make sure that we had the time and energy to make it a great, high quality and fun event, and now we have! Watch this space.”
Dates, locations, attending cast/crew members and venues will be revealed soon.
