Southcliffe tells the story of a fictional English market town devastated by a spate of shootings which take place over a single day.

Alongside former Skins stars Joe Dempsie and Kaya Scodelario, the cast includes Rory Kinnear (Black Mirror), Sean Harris (Prometheus), Shirley Henderson (Anna Karenina), Eddie Marsan (Tyrannosaur), Anatol Yusef (Boardwalk Empire) and Nichola Burley (Wuthering Heights).

Directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Southcliffe begins filming this month and will air on Channel 4 in 2013.
