Sky Atlantic has announced the commission of a new comedy series from Julia Davis, the creator of Human Remains, Nighty Night and Hunderby.

Robin’s Test follows a group of couples on a birthday camping trip to Dorset.

The six-part series will star Julia Davis, Rufus Jones (W1A), Vicki Pepperdine (Together), Steve Pemberton (Inside No.9), Jonathan Cake (Doll & Em), Liz Berrington (Stella) and David Bamber (Rome).

The official synopsis reads: “The carefully planned weekend quickly unravels once party girl Fay (Julia Davis) arrives with the newly separated Tom (Rufus Jones) and the holiday takes on a whole new direction.”

Julia Davis recently wrote and starred in two Hunderby specials for Sky Atlantic.
