‘Beaver Falls’: Series 1 episode guide

Coming to E4 this summer, new homegrown drama Beaver Falls follows Flynn (Samuel Roberston), A-Rab (Arsher Ali) and Barry (John Dagleish); three British chancers, fresh out of uni and determined to have one last summer of irresponsibility before they face the real world.

For reasons best know to Flynn, they’ve blagged themselves jobs at Beaver Falls, an elite American summer camp for the ridiculously beautiful teenage offspring of California’s rich and powerful.

Episode 1
Wednesday 27th July 2011, 9pm

The guys arrive at camp. A-Rab is packing a broken heart; Barry, a stash of weed; and Flynn mostly packing an insatiable desire to get laid as much possible. Things appear to get off to a good start when Barry meets gorgeous lifeguard Kimberley (Natasha Loring) and A-Rab clicks with wholesome guidance counsellor Rachael (Kristen Gutoskie).

But threats to their summer of fun start to mount when they fall out with the jocks and the kids; and Flynn’s raging libido lands them all in some very hot water. Eventually an uneasy truce is formed, but a message from home reveals Flynn is hiding a secret.

Episode 2
Wednesday 3rd August 2011, 9pm

It’s July 4th, the day America celebrates ridding itself of the tyranny of British rule and the day Beaver Falls throws its annual Independence Day Pageant – only this year Flynn’s in charge. Throw in the arrival of Beaver Falls’ most glamorous and infamous camper, Lily Meadows (just don’t mention the sex tape!), and it’s got diplomatic incident written all over it.

Meanwhile, A-Rab must pluck up the courage to ask Rachael to the dance, while Barry finds the most unlikely of drug dealers,as the boys embrace life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Episode 3
Wednesday 10th August 2011, 9pm

It’s Parents’ Day – a chance for the folks to visit their precious kids and for Bobby and Pam to tap them for donations. Our boys might think this equals a day off, but when Rick Jnr’s estranged father, golfing legend – and Barry’s hero – Rick Traviata (Corey Johnson) shows up, a reluctant Flynn finds himself in the middle of a family feud.

Meanwhile, A-Rab has girl trouble. He’s struggling to manage the aftermath of his first one-night stand, while trying to handle Rachael and her first encounter with tequila…

Episode 4
Wednesday 17th August 2011, 9pm

It’s the hottest, sweatiest day of the year and it feels like the whole of camp has got one thing on the brain: sex. A-Rab, Rachael (Kristen Gutoskie), Smallie (Joshua Warner-Campbell) – even Bobby (Todd Boyce) – everyone seems to be getting some, apart from Barry, of course.

Could this call for a change of tactics? And just as things are finally working out for Rachael and A-Rab, a surprise visitor throws everyone into turmoil: Saima (Anjli Mohindra). The Ex. The girl who broke A-Rab’s heart has returned to get him back, but not if Barry and the Chunk Bunk have anything to do with it. Which only leaves Flynn to comfort a distraught Rachael…

Today love is causing problems all over camp. Kimberley (Natasha Loring) realises the truth about Jake (Jon Cor), Rachael (Kristen Gutoskie) is struggling to deal with the events of last week and Pam’s (Alison Doody) indiscretions finally push Bobby (Todd Boyce) over the edge.

When Bobby loses it, he really loses it as the Brits and the Chunk Bunk find out when he sends them on the day trip from hell.

Episode 6
Wednesday 31st August 2011, 9pm

It’s the last day of camp and everyone’s thinking about the summer they’ve had, the home that awaits them and any unfinished business that might need taking care of. Most of all, they’re excited about the last night prom – even the dateless Chunk Bunk.

And with the secrets that have been lurking between the boys all summer threatening to spill out at any moment, it certainly promises to be a night to remember.
