Played by actor Max Brown (The Tudors), the character of Dimitri Levendis joined Spooks in last year’s Series 9, alongside Sophia Myles as former private contractor Beth Bailey, who will not appear in the new series.

In an exclusive interview with CultBox, writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley revealed: “Dimitri’s chief action man this year, and we get under his skin – he has a big story in [Episode 3], where his gentlemanly, ex-military moral code is challenged by having to seduce a young woman.”

They added: “He might take his top off too, if that’s what you’re really asking.”
