Stan Lee‘s Lucky Man season 3 will arrive on our screens later this month, with the Sky One show’s official return date confirmed for July 20th 2018.
James Nesbit will, of course, reprise his starring role as DI Harry Clayton, a London cop that comes into ownership of a luck-enhancing bracelet. Amara Karan will reprise her role as DS Suri Chohan, Sienna Guillory will return as Eve, and Stephen Hagan will be back as Rich Clayton.
TV Wise sums up the plot of season 3 thusly:
“In season three, DI Harry Clayton (Nesbitt) is in Hong Kong, looking for answers about his ‘lucky’ charm where he comes up against some nasty underworld characters who have their eyes on more than just his bracelet.”
Given that season 2 ended with Harry’s bracelet being flung into the Thames, we’d wager that he may not be quite as lucky a man when season 3 kicks off.
The arrival of Samuel Blake, a villain played by Rupert Penry-Jones, certainly won’t help matters. Samuel is a career criminal keen on collecting the lucky bracelets.
Penry-Jones has said this about his nefarious role:
“The conniving Samuel Blake is a great character to play who offers all the action, destruction and rivalry you can expect from a classic Stan Lee villain!”
We look forward to clapping eyes on this new season when it kicks off on July 20th.
More as we hear it.
