She was missing from almost the entirety of Supergirl season two, but it has been confirmed that Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) stuck around at least for a little while following the finale.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress will be present when we return to National City, though it’s unclear how much of her we’ll see across the third season.

Cat’s absence is due to behind the scenes negotiations, with Flockhart choosing not to retain her series regular status following production’s move to Vancouver when Supergirl transitioned from CBS to The CW between the first and second seasons.

More casting news came over the weekend, in the form of Heroes’ Adrian Pasdar and Jane the Virgin star Yael Grobglas, who you can get a look at in the Comic-Con trailer below.
