Taskmaster series 7 will debut on Dave on September 5th 2018, with Greg Davies and little Alex Horne putting a new set of comedic talents through the wringer. James Acaster, Jessica Knappett, Rhod Gilbert, Kerry Godliman and Phil Wang will battle it out for the highly coveted bust of Davies’ head.
Horne himself took to Twitter to remind us of the air date, as well as plugging the official Taskmaster book that arrives on shop shelves the day after the premiere…
Yes, Taskmaster 7 starts on the 5th and the first #taskmasterbook is out on the 6th. I’m exactly as excited about both. Bye!

The book is entitled Taskmaster: 200 Extraordinary Tasks For Ordinary People, and you can order it on Amazon now if you like.

Who do you think will take home the trophy this time around? We’ve got a good feeling that James Acaster will embrace the oddness in a big way, but only time will tell if he does enough to bag a win.
We’ll bring you more Taskmaster news as it happens.
