The movie version of The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, is rumoured to be lining up some filming time in the UK. The Warner Bros studio complex in Leavesden, where Miller has previously shot scenes for Justice Leage and the Fantastic Beasts franchise, is believed to be where The Flash‘s production is headed.
This rumour originates from the Geeks Worldwide website, with a new report on the site suggesting that production proper on The Flash will kick off at Leavesden in February 2019. This makes sense from a timing standpoint: Wonder Woman 1984 is filming at Leavesden currently, and Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot should have plenty of time to wrap things up between now and February before freeing up some soundstages for The Flash.
Joby Harold is set to write the script for The Flash, with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein lined up to share the director’s chair. Harold previously penned King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, while Daley and Goldstein recently directed Game Night as well as working on the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa both previously inhabited the director’s chair, but neither of them opted to press ahead with the project. Here’s hoping that Daley and Goldstein manage to stay the course and get the film made.
