Lis Sladen passed away last month at the age of 63. Current Doctor Who actor Matt Smith paid tribute to the star, commenting: “Her grace and kindness will stay with me because she had such qualities in abundance and shared them freely.”
The newspaper quotes a source as saying: “Writers will find a way to complete the series without Sarah.”
Update: The Sarah Jane Adventures writer Gareth Roberts has posted the following comment on Twitter regarding The Sun‘s article: “The story in The Sun today re SJA is not true”.
Update: The show’s lead writer Phil Ford has also responded to The Sun‘s article on Twitter: “Dear Editor of The Sun, I think you will find there’s plenty of news out there today without making stuff the fuck up!”
