Jodie Whittaker (Attack the Block) says she’d be “delighted” if The Smoke returns for a second series.

Sky1′s new firefighting drama launched earlier this year and the first series concluded last month.

Speaking exclusively to CultBox, Whittaker revealed: “I’d absolutely 100% be back… Well, I’m contracted anyway, but you know!”

The actress added: “We’d all be delighted though – well, everyone who’d be coming back…”

From the creators of Spooks and Broadchurch, The Smoke stars Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Gallactica) as a seasoned fire-fighter and the leader of the crew at White Watch.

A second series has not yet been confirmed by Sky1.
