The ten-part adaptation of Phillipa Gregory‘s historical novel series, The Cousin’s War, concluded in the UK on Sunday night.

The BBC told Broadcast: “The White Queen will not be returning, but it is important to note that it was never actually conceived as a returnable series.”

It had previously been rumoured that a follow-up series was planned, based on Phillipa Gregory’s The White Princess novel.
