Created by Tim Kring (Heroes), Touch follows Martin Bohm (Sutherland), a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son.
The opening episode of Season 2 will air at 8pm on Tuesday 2 April on Sky1.
The scope has been widened, with the story shifting from New York to Los Angeles as Martin tries to protect Jake from the mysterious and very possibly sinister research facility, Aster Corps. Also added to the equation as a series regular is Maria Bello (A History of Violence), who appeared in the finale as Lucy, the mother of a missing child with a lot in common with Jake. Other cast additions include Lukas Haas (Inception), playing an Aster Corps genius, and Greg Ellis (24), as a journalist and old friend of Martin’s.
