The dispute between UKTV and Virgin Media, which began in July, has come to an end. The disagreement saw UKTV remove its channels – including Dave – from Virgin Media boxes.

UKTV released this statement on Twitter, confirming that a new agreement has been made and that UKTV’s slate of channels will now return to Virgin Media boxes…

And Virgin said this, revealing that five times more UKTV On Demand programming will be available on Virgin Media as a result of this new deal…

This deal is described as a long-term solution, which should mean that Virgin Media customers do not lose access to these channels again at any point in the near future.

If you’re wondering what caused this feud, the short answer is ‘money’. Thankfully, now, the disagreement is over and Virgin Media customers can get back to watching UKTV channels on their boxes.
