Inspired by the true story of former Las Vegas Sheriff Ralph Lamb, a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to the city in the 1960s, Vegas stars Dennis Quaid, Michael Chiklis (The Shield), Jason O’Mara (Terra Nova), Taylor Handley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) and Sarah Jones (Alcatraz).

The first episode airs at 10pm on Thursday 14 February on Sky Atlantic.

Las Vegas is swelling with outsiders and corruption as the gambling and entertainment mecca is emerging from the tumbleweeds. Lamb (Dennis Quaid, Far From Heaven) is looking into the murder of a casino work and comes across Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis, The Shield), a ruthless Chicago gangster who plans to make Vegas his own. The two become engaged in a fierce battle for control of the budding oasis and, for both, folding is not an option.
